ZMAX?

has anybody ever used the ZMAX system on a superhawk? I hear good things about it for a variety of engines but nothing specific on a carburated V-Twin.

I just got some for my Subaru. I am getting abot 1.5 mpg better now than before. What got me to try it is that the FAA will allow engines twice as many hours before they require a rebuild, if the use Vmax. That sounds like a hell of an endorsement.

And no, I'm not affiliated with them.....

I don't know anything about zmax. Just remember that most bikes, including VTRs, use the same oil for the trans and clutch, not just the engine.

A product which may or may not make pistons and cams super slippery might not be a great idea. Do you want a super slippery clutch?

A super slippery clutch would make your rear tires last twice as long. It has to be the way to go.

Found this;

"...motor oil treated with zMax produced twice as much bearing corrosion as motor oil alone."
