Going from stock jets to Factory Pro Ti kit

So this is what I'm thinking :

Needles : 2nd from bottom
main jet : 180f/185r
slow jet : stock #45
mixture : 2.25 turns out

once I get her put back together and run a tester I'll update on how that works .

I'm running K&N air filter ,two bros. carbon fiber , and I think thats the only mods done to it .

I also pulled the plugs and they were kinda grey looking (but I'm color blind too ) so I'm sure it's running lean .

Give me your guys' input please and thank you .........

Ok ,so i took her for a test ride ,and i was completely unaware of what a difference re-jetting would make .Now , I'm pretty used to the front wheel being a bit light so to speak ,but good lord , I got into it a little and damn near looped it ,then hit 2nd and the front started to come up again ,needless to say it gave me a little fright ,and almost creamed my jeans .Now all i got to do is re-sync the carbs ,they were out just a little bit .

But other than that it completely got rid of the fart ,hic-up at the 2500 to 3000 range ,I am so frickin' ready to go for a ride ............

Mine farts and coughs at 3-4 grand, I think I'll do the jet on mine too I keep hearing what a difference it can make. I'm running stock cans with a K&N airfilter.

Like to here how a kit works with stock cans. Just picked up a totally stock 03 and it does hick-up at times below 1/2 throttle position. But what a great bike.

I have a set of stock cans with a bafflectomy and about 8 holes drilled in each side.K&N filter too. Looove the rumble but the carb farts can be annoying when its not warmed up yet. Get it bliipin the throttle too once in a while. Be interested to see how the jet kit works with stock cans. Whats a kit run on average? Thanks bros.
