The question is simple.
Does anyone know if the R/R from an 04/05 R6 will fit right in my 07 VTR?
Will it do a good job?

 

If it's got a 5 pin connector it should work. If it's the 7 or 3 pin kind, no. If it's 5 pin you have to cut off the connector on your harness and either splice the Yamaha connector(not likely) or just crimp/solder 5 individual female lugs. I have one from a gixer and that's what I did. The Yamaha and Suzuki models are much better than the Honda since they have an aluminum enclosure with big cooling fins. So yes, it should do a good job.

The answer is probabily yes, but has anyone had it on his SH or VTR for more than one year with no ishues?
