Hey guys... I'm doing some extensive cosmetic overhauling to my 2001 superhawk, and i'd like to change the rear brake caliper out for a better look. Does anyone know which other rear calipers will mount up to out bracket? (I'm gonna be changing to a cbr900rr caliper bracket, but i believe the bolt spacing is the same)

Maybe a nice Brembo?

PS: I havent begun researching/comparing rear caliper piston/bore sizes just yet, but i'm not too worried because it's just the back brake...

IIRC, any Nissin from a late-model Honda sportbike will fit. I am running one from a CBR600F4i on mine (solely because it's black), from what I can tell, it's identical in every other way to the stock piece....

 

Anyone know the bolt spacing on our rear brake caliper mounting bolts?

Looks like our bolt spacing is 90mm...
