why would fuse on starter solenoid blow?

why would fuse on starter solenoid blow?

fuse blew the other day and i need info on what to look for since i dont have a manual.. and im broke.. i just want to ride.. any ideas or help is greatly apreeciated.. 1998 superhawk 996

Over time fuses get weak. Replace and ride. If it blows again, your next step would be the R/R. You do want to check ALL your connectors and grounds prior to getting a new R/R though. I was assuming you had done this until I saw your other thread on this.

put 30 amp in and blows when i hit throttle.....wtf!!!

Have you checked all of your connections and grounds?

If so, replace R/R.
