can anyone tell me a good source for a tachometer suitable for tuning (one accurate enough to use the drop idle method for setting fuel mixture, for instance). Are the ones that clamp around a spark lead adequate? Is there something NAPA or sears might carry?
I'm going out looking but if someone knows of something will save me some time

I think you can get these from Parts Unlimited or Tucker Rocky. Maybe even Dennis Kirk. I would check for you but I'm supposed to be working right now...
