Waterpump chain

How the hell do you remove it?
I cant take out the crank without removing it and the manual is not helpfull

The sprocket for the waterpump itself will slide out. If i remember correctly If you remove the main gear that meshes with the clutch the chain will come right off, but I could be wrong.

Thanks Truck I just got it.
The gear has a stub shaft welded onto the gear and you just have to pull it out far enough to clear.
