Vtr Still not running strong

Vtr Still not running strong

Long Story short have a 99 vtr. painted fairing in the garage. then drained the gas to get dirt out of tank cleaned the carbs after that. then broke tps then replaced it yesterday. bike cranks up and runs good on stand but as soon as its in gear in take of its really sluggish n weak. I very frustrated with what ever is cause the problem. I changed the oil twice. new gas. someone plz help me.

I think forced induction would solve it.


Seriously though, hard to diagnose without being right there. I take it you've checked the filter for obstructions?

The filter is good and all the fuel lines are in place i replaced the sparkplugs too. I still need help plz

yes search the pvlir and still no positive outcome. the only other things i can think of is timing or sycn but i dont know how to do any of that work

You can get a service manual, and that will help... Although if you're confused you may just want to take it to a shop.
