I just tore my rear end off my bike to install my new Jamie D shock(tips from the forum)then put it all back together and realized I put the resivoir on the chain side( I had it dangling there)****! Now I would like some reassurance it will be OK,or do I have to go back in there and reverse it? Oh and I did that cause the way rebound screw was positioned, it had to be that way so I could adjust without interference from the header.Thanks in advance. Hopey

 

That is the side Ohlins has you put it on, so you should be ok.

Why did you think it wouldnt be ok? Chain heat? Noise? Balance issue? Save the whales? What?

 

If you throw the chain you can take out the reservoir but that was more in the old days...

 

Thought it would be a problem because of the close proximity to the chain guard ,when hung on the underside of the bottom rail of the seat stay.Just cause I thought it looks better there.I guess the only time it would contact there is when I'm in the whoppity do's. P.S.glad you guys were still awake to help me out
