suspension mod

Hello everyone, been awhile since I have been here. I have a suspension mod question that I hope someone here can answer.
One of my riding buddies has a 03 SH and a 06 CBR1000RR that he recently totaled out. About the only good parts left on the CBR are the motor and the front end. The wheel, brakes and forks all look good.
So does anyone know if the front end from his 06 CBR will fit on the SH? I know several guys here have used RC51 and 929 front ends.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Anything is possible, I think they're very short forks though. I'm not sure what year it was but icebud did a cbr conversion recently do a search he put alot of info about it.
