stiff clutch

I am considering buying a 1998 superhawk.(I own a vfr as well) the bike i am considering requires a very hard pull on the clutch lever. It did get dropped once on the clutch lever, but it seems ok.. Anybody ever have a hard to pull clutch on a hawk? Any ideas as to the cause? usually the honda hydraulic clutch system is quite a light pull.

Maybe you could use at least a bleed, if not a flush, on that clutch fluid.

Clutch

I agree I bled my clutch twice and used synthetic dot 5 and it's much better. There's also an adjustment wheel at the base of the lever for pull travel.
