Stator

Anybody know how to test a stator that is off the bike?I know you are supposed to be able to check the ohms but don't know what they are supposed to be.

I think it's the same as on the bike. What you're looking for is dead shorts across the fields. I'm sure there is a stator test if you search for regulator/rectifier.

inderocker is an unknown quantity at this point

You can check for shorts off the bike, but not output.... of course.
