Spark Plug Clearence Sale

A local Honda dealer has a clearence sale going on right now and I noticed that they have a few DPR9EV-9 plugs in a box. Is this the same thing as the stock DPR9EX-9 plug that the manual calls for. The part number on the box doesnt have the {X} in it. I know their is a newer iriduim plug for the hawk but these are going to a couple of bucks a piece.

Just checked my old plugs and it has the X on them. The ones on clearence doesnt have it marked on them so they must be different.

Different plug. You need the iridium plug.

DPR9EIX-9 IIRC.... It's definitely got an IX in it. Previous owner had some Champions in it and I replaced those with the Iridium NGK's and I swear I gained a good few horsepower out of it...Im jetted rich and the Champions just wouldn't burn up the excess like the NGK's do. Paid around $11 a plug and they had to be special-ordered out of state, theyre a hard plug to get, but worth the money.
