Right side crankcase

Right side crankcase
Hey guys,
I am changing the right side crankcase cover (the side the clutch is on) and I need a to get the gasket for it. Locally, they have no idea what I am talking about and said most likely it will come as a kit....aka.$$$$. Is there a part number for this and alternatively, can I use gasket sealant?
One another note; anyone would advise as to the process in removing the water pump blade from the cover? I have the manual and it said to hammer it out using a specific tool. Unfortunately, I do not have this tool. Should I bring it to the shop or can I manage this myself.
Thanks for helping me out.

It has been a long time since I did a water pump, but I don't think you need a special tool to do it. I didn't have one. Basic tools will get it done, you will see when you get it apart.
Make sure you follow the manual exactly when putting it back together, as the bearing gets seated to a specific depth, and when you drive the impeller back in the bearing needs to be supported or it will move. Be careful and watch what you are doing and you will be fine.

The water pump came off easily, drain the coolant before, the drain plug is a bolt that holds noting, under the front header, just above the lower rad hose, use a hose to avoid make a mess, just place the hose and pop the rad cap, clean quick drain.
I ordered the water pump sorta O-ring gasket, but it was like new.
Get a scraper blade to scrape the old gasket, be sure to be at the right angle not to damage the seating surface, you will need sealant for where the case splits and the pulse gen wire grommet aera, I used sealant on the cover only so I could remove the cover easily.
Change oil (if you haven't drained it yet), put fresh coolant.
There are three length of bolts, but just make sure they engage 8 to 10mm and you can't go wrong.
If you don't disassemble the water pump, it should be a direct swap.
As Shane says, follow the manual
