RC 51 exhaust fit?

I can pick up a complete RC51 exhaust for free in my area. Will the stock RC51 cans fit as in direct bolt on? I just want to try stock cans on my bike to see if I can avoid changing my pilots, to get rid of my flat spot at 3500K. Already on the last notch on the needles on dynojet kit. It would be nice to ride without ear plugs also. What is compatible exhaust wise between RC51 and VTR1000?

bolt on ? NO. but with a little welding they can look nice. imo - they sound terrible.

imo, they not only sound better than the stock ones, they also look better and are lighter.

i did 'open' them up a little bit...they still sounded to tinny to me.

he stated they were free, so get them and mount them up & see what
you think.

I know as far as aftermarket midpipes go an rc51 right side fits fine, might me a tad longer than a superhawk midpipe if I remember. The left side does not, the bend coming off the header is different.

Well the guy offered them up for free on a local forum but never responded back to my reply. I'll pick them up if free if I get an address. I have some extra Hawk mid pipe pieces laying around and maybe I can get them welded up to the RC51 cans. If I don't use them I'll pass them along for free to whoever wants them.
