I'm noticing a rattle while accellerating, it begins past 2k and continues until past 5k when my exhaust drowns it out. I originally thought it to be carb slides, this bike is still new to me so i'm still learning what is and isn't "normal" thanks guys

 

yes there is a subtle ticking that the slides make between 2k-5k. if its loud, then it might be something else.

 

not super loud, but loud enough for me to hear over the cam chain whine until about 5k'ish

 

sounds about right for the slides. if it gets louder, then have it checked but I can just barely hear mine between 2-5k.
