Race-Tech fork kit question

The fork valve is the valve for the dampening action, and the rebound kit is the valve controling the upward motion in the fork... A completely redone fork includes both...
BUT, in the case of the VTR the re-bound valve is actually sufficient unless you are either very heavy, or are going to the track a lot...
Go for the springs and Race Tech Gold Valve Fork Kit and then do the "taper mod" instead... it takes a fine file some patience and gives almost the same results as the rebound valve kit...
