I have just completed the R1 R/R swap and I wanted to thank the Superhawk Forum community with the assistance in making this swap an easy one. I purchased the bike 3 weeks ago (my first twin), but have been looking at them for awhile. A friend of mine hade a complete 01 R1 motor, wiring harness, swing arm, and shock and let me have the R/R for free. So far the thing runs, but I have to bring home my voltage meter tomorrow and check output. The next thing I am planning on doing is the CCTs, (I doubt I'll get such a steal for those) and not as easy swap. Hopefully I wont bother you all too much when it comes to this, since I already have enough information gathered here already. Thanks agsin for all of you help.
