quick idle adjustment ?

quick idle adjustment ?
do you have to remove the tank or lift it up to get to idle adjustment screw? was poking my head around by the choke **** and other side, didnt see anything noticable. mine is idling around 1500-1600 when warm, would like to drop it down to about 900-1000. thanks

can be reached from right side of bike without removing anything. I am not near the bike but I recall its a black knurled ****, situated between the carbs - I think you can reach it with a gloved hand but if not its slotted for a long screw driver. Be sure at operating temp before adjusting

Sounds about right...900-1000 might be a tad low when it gets cool, at least that's how mine acts.
idle was set just under 1000 when i bought mine and it had problems idling at start when it was cold out
