Question re 954 compression setting

Over the winter, I swapped the forks with a 954 front end and installed new 1 kg springs and RT gold valve. Setting sag and rebound is simple enough at least for base line, however compression is another animal. I've search through a number of swaps but could not find any info. For those that have done this swap, what is the base compression setting that you would recommend? The bike will be used strictly for track days. If it makes a difference, I'm using Michelin Power One tires.

Set it at the middle of the adjustment range. Most Honda forks have 24 clicks total so you would set it at 12 clicks out to start.

I don't have any clicks on mine but I will set it in the middle and take from there.
Thanks,
