Plug check

I pulled the front plug to see if I am running lean. Is it typical to be wet sometimes with a little gas? I was making sure I was not lean since I have a K&N filter and my stock pipes are drilled out a little. Gonna pull the rear plug tomorrow.

Question

I just swapped my o.e. plugs w/ iridium NGK's. $7.90ea + shipping off flea bay. The plugs that came out looked great (about 11,000mi). They were however dry. Unless you were trying to start it without success, I think a wet plug is un-typical.

Do you use the kill switch to shut the bike off? That cuts electrical but not fuel, which would cause that. I honestly wouldn't be to worried about it.

Not trying to be a smart ***, but don't all methods of shutting off the bike mean cutting electrical power? Short of lifting the tank and turning the petcock.
