Continental Contiforce SM tire.

I just picked up a continental contiforce SM front tire for like $40.00 brand new. I know they are for motards, and only have an H speed rating, but thats good for up to 130 mph plenty fast for me. The SH is way heavier than a motard and the contiforces are specificly made for the tards. Should I not mount the tire, or just use it?

Vega;

Can't see any reason not to use it. Gotta avoid "sustained" speeds over 130? So what? A good, sticky name brand tire for 40 bucks? Where did you get it? Do they have more?

Cycle gear out here had a warehouse sale today. I was at work but my pops went and bought all kinds of **** for dirt cheap prices. I told him to be on the look out for a front tire for me and this is what he came up with. from what he told me it was chaos at the warehouse. people were lining up at 7 Am for this thing to open at 9 am. lots of good deals.

With prices like that, I'll bet it was crazy.

On second thought though, I hate to see you risk your life on a $40 motard tire, and since I haven't yet done my good deed for the day, I buy that tire from you for $41!

Yeah, put it on the bike. You got a great deal on what looks like a perfectly good tire. Think you owe your dad lunch or a beer or something.

Yeah, I was amazed how much my Dad had "matured" between the time I was a 15 year old punkass and a 25 year old (semi) responsible adult!
