please help

Ok guys I just replaced my r/r about 3 months ago and bam my batt dies again just replaced it and it still wont hold a charge WHAT THE *@#!?% IS ITS PROBLEM

maybe you have a bad r/r or battery. If not that, then check your grounds.

Check out your stator if you have an ohmmeter.
Did you get the R/R used?

Remember stock or OEM style R/R units are very much like tires.
The more you use them, the more spent they are.
More accurately, the faster you rev the motor, the more it heats up
and wears out. (unless you can can keep them really cool)

the r/r was new I got an after market one from ebay that had vent slots on it . I thought it would make it stay cooler

Was it a Honda R/R? I don't trust the chinese aftermarket one's. It could have failed on you again. If it did it went in the dead direction as opposed to the melt everything direction.

Yea as i explained somewhere else, just sparking the battery cable wrong will toast a china-box.

I checked it out w a multi meter r/ris dead does anyone know where to get a deal on a honda r/r hopefully a vented one if that possible ......so much for trying too save money
