Pitbull Stand not working

I have a pitbull stand with the pin that I use to get plenty of different sport bikes in the air so I can pull the front forks off. This stand does not seem to work with the Superhawk. The frame/stem hole that the pin goes into is higher than the body work. If I try to put the superhawk up on this stand it will crush the nose body work. Is there a special pin or jig for this stand?

I may have to hang the bike from the garage ceiling tonight. All I want to do is change the damn fork oil. The other thing I could do is pull the body work but I was hoping not to open such a can of works.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
The standard pin with the #1 adapter sleeve always worked fine for me

Pulling the bodywork is a one minute job... You don't need to split it... Remove the mirrors, remove the 4 bolts and unplug the blinkers and lights and slide it off...

True, since it is so easy, I tend to pull it off anytime I work on the bike at all.

It's easier than being pissed of at it being in the way of just about anything I do... Yeah, yeah... I'm lazy...

Yea, I think I have the wrong pin and I am almost positive a certain friend of mine borrowed / stole it. The correct pin will definitely allow the cross bar to clear the body work and horn.
