NEED help with wiring!

so im in the gritty part of my street fighter build. ihave everthing apart ready to rock! As I am test wiring the bike back togther i have come across the issue that in order to eliminate my guages i need to some how bypass the guages but still have my tail light and other things that are on the same circuit..i intend to later on have upright bars and then install a small aftermarket gauge set up but for now i really want to ride kickin it old school. figure wind blast means im going to fast .. good enough .. So cal cops dont care as long as yer around 85 or less please HElp! my v8 audi will empty my wallet in days commuting...

thanks forgot to mention mine is a 03.... his diagrams are for a 97--2000.. thanks for the reply though..

Where does it go

When I got my hawknback from valve adjustment I found an unconnected connector. On page 50 fuel it is circled cannon type plug where does it go? Everything seems to be working

The only differences to the newer bikes are the connector at the gauges being a single one, instead of two... Other than that they are 100% identical... And since wire colors match, it's not hard to "translate"...
