Map light...??

Or Whatever that small light above the headlight is called. I have heard it called several diff names.

Anyway, what kind of bulb goes in there?? When I bought my SH about a year ago the bulb was burned out. I took the bad bulb to a buddy that owns and auto repair shop and he gave me one that fit and worked. The problem is, since then I have been through about 4 of those little bastards. Surely thats not normal. Anybody got the numerics or part number for a direct replacement that might last me longer than 3 months give or take?

Isn't there an led or high output bulb that can go in there too?

Sure, there are LEDs made to fit a 194 plug.

some countries require two forward facing white lights (in case one burns out) it fills the legal requirement.

R/R was replaced with a brand new R1 about 1500 miles ago, I think I was just not using the right bulb. I just kept popping in the one that my buddy gave me cause it fit.
