Longer throttle cables & wiring?????

So I may do the super bike hanblebar and risers and mod my top triple clamp. I'm actually going to use some Pro Taper Low Bars that came off a TRX 450 R 4 wheeler. After I make, mod, or get different risers, I know that I will need to extend the wiring and the throttle cables will need to be longer. Any suggestions on cables that are longer from some other model? I figure I can make some wiring harnes extensions by using some used ends & wiring.

How much riser do you plan on having? I just did the superbike bars with 2 inch risers which gave me a lot of pull back and rise with the bars and had alot of slack in the throttle cable and wiring. I had to replace the brake lines but everything else reached quite easily.

I don't think you'll have to extend the wiring, just the cables and hoses. You can use a set of throttle cables from an F4i and then get yourself some steel braided lines and you'll be set. I've also got some LSL clamp-on riser's if you're interested.

Man you´re fast!
Thanks.
So, you´re saying the throttle cables from the CBR 600F4i fit´s in the SH in order to extend it, is that right?

I´m only asking cause i´m also putting a pro taper in mine, and this worries mi too.

Thanks guys! That's what I was looking for. I'm only going with 2" risers myself. I know I'll need a new brake line, I just didn't know if the throttle cables would be long enough.

How much do you want for the "LSL clamp-on risers (Spiegler)? I thought Spiegler's "kit" fit on the OE top triple clamp.

That's just a general pic. The VTR kit uses the "AS" style.

I'll take $100 for the clamps, but since I offered them up to Wildman first I'll wait and see if he wants them.

If Wildman does not want the Spieglers and I take them, I have a OEM top triple clamp Wildman can buy from me to use as a basis for his SB bar/riser mod; which is what I was going to do.

Wildman???
