Keyless gas cap

I got a keyless gas cap off fleabay for about $35.

It took a pound of weight off the top of the tank.
Bike is getting lighter every week.

It's actually half a pound (been there, done that; verified it on my digital scale), but it's a nice little drop nonetheless....

Half a pound is cool. It feels more though.

Brand? I don't know. It came from a USA seller on Ebay.
It's probably something that a machinist cloned. There's an O-ring on the filler cap and a rubber ring around the gas cap base. They come in different colors.
I won't order direct from China.
Quality seems okay.
It's a gas cap so what can really go wrong?

Edit:
Here's a link to Ebay where I bought it-

Update:

I've been getting fuel leakage from around the base plate when the tank is close to full. The rubber gasket isn't thick enough to seal . Also, the cap is vented so you smell fumes.
I will not keep it -but will look for another proven and non-vented one.

I ran one I bought on eBay from a chap called "gascapdude" (only $30 too, guy is in California). Similar look (except mine was black) and never had any problems of leakage in the 1+ year I ran it.

Seriously though that sucks. Maybe a thicker rubber gasket could be made?

I have one like that I bought off someone on here, hopefully I won't have any leakage.
