Half a pound is cool. It feels more though.
Brand? I don't know. It came from a USA seller on Ebay.
It's probably something that a machinist cloned. There's an O-ring on the filler cap and a rubber ring around the gas cap base. They come in different colors.
I won't order direct from China.
Quality seems okay.
It's a gas cap so what can really go wrong?

Update:
I've been getting fuel leakage from around the base plate when the tank is close to full. The rubber gasket isn't thick enough to seal . Also, the cap is vented so you smell fumes.
I will not keep it -but will look for another proven and non-vented one.

Seriously though that sucks. Maybe a thicker rubber gasket could be made?
I have one like that I bought off someone on here, hopefully I won't have any leakage.
