Im not gonna lie this makes me a bit worried

so I am on my break at work looking at my sexy bike out the window when I notice that there is fluid leaking from the drain line at the front of the engine on the bike. it ranged from a drip and drop to a trickle. I walked outside and smelled what is gasoline. Also from the hose I could see gaoline vapor coming out. I noticed a spot under where I had parked yesterday when I left work. I filled her up to the brim this morning and then rode 30 miles into work. Last night she was 70 miles from her last fillup.

It is 80 degrees with 36 % hummidity and she is parked in the sun.

Is this normal? am I panicking? What if someone smokes a cigarette near her?

Is this because gasoline is vaporizing in the heat then flowing down the overfill drain hole and condensing in the cooler drain tube and dripping out?

Mine used to do this on hot days but usually only when the tank was almost full. Not much to be done about it really. You could pop the lid and let out pressure just in case.

Sounds like the tank is just full and it is hot enough to vaporize enough to fill the airspace in the tank. Wouldn't worry about it. Now if you're pouring fuel out while running, that is something I'd be worried about.

As for the smoking, gasoline isn't nearly as flammable as Hollywood would have you believe.

Whew. Logically I knew it was just vapor, but she is my baby and she has caught fire in the past so I was just a little worried. I moved her into the shade and it didnt happen again
