ignition rc51/hawk

Hi guys
Have a slight hiccup with the rc51 f/end conversion
I am using the rc51 top yoke, but the hawk ignition is too big to fit
I have a later model hawk with the honda HISS system
Question is ,do I purchase a complete rc51 ignition and key to use
And will this fit without too much dramas
Or try to modify the hawk one
Once again any help would be appreciated

cheers

The ignition bolt right up to the cbr1000rr top yoke but I dont think its compatible.

You cant make it fit then fit a trim piece?

What is HISS?

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
That is kind of a tough one as the US bikes never came with the HISS (Honda Ignition Security System)

So that is one question that I can't help you with.

Maybe you can shoot Tweety a PM or he might post up

Thanks guys
While having a couple of wild turkeys, and pondering my issue
Had another look and might be able to do a few mods to the rc51 yoke
So the hiss will fit
But if someone has more ideas bring it on.

cheers
