How to replace brake pedal

Does anyone have any experience replacing a brake pedal.

I removed the three allen bolts holding the lever and footpegs. I loosed the swingarm bolt which let me swing the rearset but it won't come off short of removing the whole rearset - meaning removing the swingarm bolt. The manual suggests removing the bolt when the bike is on a hoist.

The pipes prevent me from swinging the set under the swingarm.

Help.

(Needless to say, my attempts at straightening the brake pedal were short lived, tragic and costly.)

Mine is on the nut side undo the nut drive the bolt back a little bit pull it off do what you gotta do put it back... if you dont drive it through the swing arm you dont have to hoist it... be careful and you will be fine... if its on the bolt side you should be able to get enough room doing the same...
