adjusting rear brake pedal

adjusting rear brake pedal

can I adjust it so it's any lower? I couldn't see any way that I could... And I checked the maintenance manual too already...

there is but it didn't really move any... I loosened it and couldn't get the pedal to go down further... You just loosen that and then the bracket should move up against it right? maybe mine is just a little rusted... Ill take some pics if I can't get it to move again

I tried again and can't get it to move up or down... here's a pic of from what I can tell is the only thing to move it.

That nut is only the lock nut.
Push the rubber boot up to reveal the adjusting nut.
I was never able to get a lot of pedal adjustment out of it....some but not a lot
You will have to readjust your brake light switch for the new pedal position

eh I just did it. what a pain in the *** thing to do. wow... I wouldn't have thought that a thing so simple in theory would be such a pain in the *** to do
