Beer is actually quite helpful;

A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. When
the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that
are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a
whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps
improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way the human brain can only operate as fast as the
slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills
brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain
cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the
weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient
machine. And that's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Does it make you forget how to spell right away!!?? Only takes one for me, then it's off to get a bottle and the rest is blank till I break out in handcuffs!
Oh yeah.....................that's why I don't drink anymore!

Trouble with drinking is forgetting where the key to the handcuffs got hidden. Trouble with getting sober is trying to explain the abrasions on the wrists.

I can vouch for that one! My tolerance depends on how much I've eaten that day. I usually get full off beer before I get buzzed from beer.

This thread is awesome.

I think if i drink at the rate of about 4 beers/hour...for 3+ hours...i will end up forgetting everything that happened after the first hour. I really miss college.

The real world sucks.
