So it's good for rua as far as the dates go, and Kendrick to be close to Milwaukee, and everybody has time to plan, how about mid Aug. Sun. the 14th at Miller Park, or somewhere down by the lake front. Just throwing out suggestions to everybody to see what they think. Or again like Skokie said there's Burlington at Adrian's Frozen Custard and try the same date, again, just suggestions.

Is everyone finding out what dates or places are good for them? Lets here some more suggestions or some yes or no's to the suggestions made. It would be great to get together for a WI./IL. ride and meet some people from the forum.

I may have family in from out of state, I was hoping for either Sun. Aug. 7th or Sun. Aug. 21st, but it's not just up to me, lets see what works for others.

No, I've just been stupid busy with work. I've had new rubber waiting to get mounted for 2 months & finally got them M&B last night and have the AC running in the shop now so it cools down so later I can get the wheels back on.
This weekends forecast is a hot one again but also with scattered showers but I'd like to get out (maybe in the evening to scrub in the new rubber and blow-out my cranial cobwebs) but have a ton of work to do too.
I have not had time to think about SHF meet-up dates yet.
If I do ride this weekend I'll try to let U know but will not have time to work on bikes too.

I'll let everyone else think about it. I'm single and fairly nomadic so I can make most things work. If anyone wants to meet up at Rockerbox, center street milwaukee, I'll be there on August 6th, ROCKERBOX 2011 otherwise for you more grounded people, just let me know. I can leave Milwaukee...
But riding the lake front is my normal loop...

The air/boat show on the lakefront is going on at the same time, so I'll be wandering between the two. And yeah I'll look for a Bill at the Retrospeed booth!
Oh and if you don't know Tim from The Shop, the unoffical MC of the day, He own's The Shop in Bayview. It sounds like they have the same mission statement as Retrospeed.

I am trying to convince my boss to get the booth. He was going to do the swap meet but after RA swap meet, he doesnt want to sit at the table all day. I told him that I would do it so we will see.

Fair enough, I'll just anyone in a retrospeed shirt if their name's Bill. I'm sure I'll run into sooner or later.

I didnt see any of you folks. I was camped out by the BUILD bikes with by blue and white cooler loaded with water, gatorade, and beer. Too bad. And had I know you were going to be at IHH, i would have went there rather than Brat days.

Anyway, so by then it was 4 so I relaxed, had dinner & headed up 41/94 to Ryan Rd east to the street that hugs as close as possible to the Lake. Ended up at IHH and while there were a bunch bikes nobody was outside. Posted up to U, had some cigars, a Sprecher RB (for $5!) and slabbed home. Really nice ride overall but it was just thick though I'll take it.
Supposed to rain after noon Sunday so I may pop out if I can get up for a ride & be back b4 the rain & get a report done.
If I'd had your cell I would of called or texted U.
PM with your #.

Yeah, I saw four Superhawks by the end of the day, but no retrospeed tshirts. Not surprising since I have never seen RB that crowded. That was a zoo. But later I went down to the jazz festival and then Brady Street.
