GSXR Triple Tree

GSXR Triple Tree
So here is what I found out about GSXR Triple Trees.
These are GSXR 600 Triples, 04-06, not sure.
The Stock lower bearing will work with the Superhawk Frame. The upper bearing is not carried by All ***** Racing, but is available from Spears Enterprises. He is drilling out the ID to make them work.
They are: OD 47mm ID 30mm Height is 12mm
There is new info for all SH owners. This should make my mod of GSXR Forks a little easier.
Next on the list to find is TL1000R Heli Bars. Most of the comments here on the Forum seem to be that these or Ducati 900SS Heli are the bars to use for Fork conversions.
Thanks to all here who have offered insight.
When I start this, I'll take pictures and let everyone know how it goes.

Erik, check out this thread before dropping the dime on the Heli's. There might be other (cheaper) options out there!!

Keep us up dated on the GSXR triples. There are a few of us who have yet to do the mod. Are there any fairing clearance issues with the triples themselves?

Bad news, I talked directly with my friend, instead of through another friend, he doesn't have the GSXR Triples. He has the forks, calipers, rotors and rim.
So, I'm in the market for 929 triples.

You may wanna check / search about using the CBR triples with the GSXR forks/wheel/rotors... you may run into some alignment issues if the distance between the GSXR forks and the CBR setup is different.
You should be able to solve it all with new spacers, and shims... but it may take a bit of messing around to get it right.
If your looking for CBR triples, you might wanna just look for the whole front end, the CBR stuff is usually in the 300-400 range for a whole setup, forks/triples/brakes...(usually minus rim).

Yet another update.
Talked with another club member last night, and he has a GSXR-600 triple to match the forks. He also has the stock steering dampener, that comes with it.
How much? Make me an offer he says.
So it's back to the full GSXR-600 front end.
I need to see how the steering dampener mounts. Tried looking at the drawings on BikeBandit. Looks like it's under the fairing, attaches to the left fork and to a tab on the frame. I think I need to weld a tab to the frame to make it work.
