gauges out :(

Hi,

Recently when I started up the bike, the gauges went out...turn signal indicators still work, but no neutral light, no tach, no speed, no display.

Figuring these crazy v-twins of ours occasionally vibrate connectors lose I took the fairing off (I should bleed coolant soon and clean off the forks so they don't get pitted anyway) and double checked that the connector for the gauges was in tight, and that the pins weren't corroded or anything.

The bike will still start, still behaves as normal, still runs well, just no gauges!

I replaced the responsible 10A fuse with another just to test, even though the original wasn't blown...no dice, still no gauges

good ol' search function...the fuse I checked is not the right one...brb, going to check/fix it...

EDIT: yep, fixed...if your cluster dies, this thread can remind you that the "odometer" fuse does not in fact run the cluster, just the memory for the ODO itself:

Don't you love a guy who answers his own questions !?

Important thing, is you found the problem.
