Hi all,

My 97 vtr is not firing in the front cylinder. It backfires when I rev it at higher revs but not at idle at all.

I have checked the coil, plugs , fuel supply and vacuum hose, (in the right place!!).and the timing is correct.

It is driving me mad.

Any thoughts at all? If not I'm off to find a cliff to jump off.
