Flo-Commander instead of jetting?

Been reading up on the Flo-commander site and it really sounds too good to be true

My only engine/airbox mods are a K+N drop-in, removed snorkel, and slipon pipes. Bike idles a little off-kilter, haven't synched the carbs yet....and it pops a little on a quick rev and decel, and a slight flat-spot at 4500 rpms, but other than that it runs great and pulls hard. It's really not *that far* out of tune. Could this thing clear it up and save me the cost of a jet kit PLUS tuning?

I have one and it definitely is a useful tool for making adjustments, but it's not a substitute for proper jetting.
