Engine quits while at idle

My recently purchased 2002 Superhawk with just 6,100 miles quit twice on a 60 mile ride this weekend. Both times while at idle, waiting for a street light. The bike is running great...on two cylinders...and the idle is at about 1,100-1,200 RPM. Running great. Then dead. It starts right back up again with the button. I'm thinking a bad connection. Anyone else have this problem before?

Your carbs should be cleaned and synchronized before assuming any other troubles for this condition.

Sounds like clunk-die. I believe there is a thread on this in Knowledge Base. Crankenfine has a good start though, which is a good carb sync and idle adjust. Mine is fine at 1000 rpm, but I've got quite a few mods.
