Dual Headlight Question

Hey guys; I'm thinking of running dual headlights on a streetfighter mod I'm working on. The headlights I've got are from an old-school GSXR. I'm thinking that running two 55/60 bulbs would be too much of a draw on the S/H's wiring. My other option, (and perhaps safer) is to run two 35/35 bulbs like my old FZR.

This isn't meant to be a permanent change, just something to try for a while. Any help would be appreciated; thanks in advance.

dual headlights

I am running that setup on my "Adventure Hawk" without problems. at idle.
I have dual 55 Watt bulbs.

Full disclosure:
I am having charging problems, so maybe it's not without problems.

However, I can say that voltage stays at normal levels at idle and the extra output doesn't seem to be a problem. Rather, I diagnose my problems as poor design of the first year regulator rectifier. My charging problems seem to be related to the bike sitting unridden for long periods of time.

I'd say it's a bit risky... The stock wiring itself is sub standard but worse than that all the current is feed through the handlebar switch... And looking at mine after running a 100W bulb a while it looked to have been rather toasty... The copper in there isn't very thick...

I'd recommend getting a couple of relays and running a beefy wire directly from the battery...
