Does Your Hawk Surge

When my hawk is first ridden even after a good warm up it surges pretty badly with even throttle settings. Accelerates great and responds to increasing throttle well. Surging seems to go away after 30-40 minutes of ridding. Sound familiar??

No, shouldnt do that. Could be a carb issue or even airbox plumbing. Carb issue could be carb sync or jetting. Niether of my hawks do that (it is a honda).

Have a search for the keyword 'surge' and that will turn up a few threads where its cropped up before and see if they help answer your query.
