Chassis setup
Since my Superhawk is going to my track toy this year I want a good base line to start from before I start messing with geometry. My bike has never been stock so I don't have anything to refer to. I found the shock length, 345mm, in an old thread. Can anyone tell me how much the forks are above the triple in stock form?

On the OEM forks, there is a snap ring at the top.. The fork tubes are placed in the clamps till the stopper ring is against the top, of the clipon. Off the top of my head it's about 5mm of tube above the clipon.

You really need to strongly consider new springs in the forks. The stock, progressive springs are too soft in the top of travel, so you can't set your sag properly, and you are likely to run out of travel on the brakes on a track.

If that was directed at me my forks are completely worked by Jamie, springs, compression valve, and rebound valves. I want to get the geometry to a base setting before tuning the suspension.

OK. that's good!
See if you can get somebody with a proper setup to give you a measurement from the top of the front axle to the bottom of the frame headtube, with the forks fully extended (front wheel off)

So that you can set the forks at the proper height in the chassis, since you don't have stock triple clamps.
You will probably want to start at the stock height, for stability and to keep from rubbing hard parts on the asphalt.
Do the triple clamps have the standard offset? I think the std offset is 35 mm on the Super Hawk.
30mm is stock on an RC51.
