CBR600F4i throttle cable length?
Hello,
in the following post: https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=22464 (don`t mean to threadjack that discussion, hence this thread) it was mentioned that the throttle cables from the F4i were potentially longer than the stock VTR ones and could potentially be used by those searching for longer cables for their Hawk/Storm. I was wondering if anyone can confirm or comment on this? My interest in the matter realtes to my use of an HRC short-throe (1/6 turn) throttle tube, which has my cables "stretched" right to the end of their adjustment (my throttle tightens up during full-lock turn to the left). My dealer suggested I look at picking up longer cables (which will get them replaced when I get the engine rebuilt). I could go the custom cable route with MotionPro but if OEM F4i cables are a less expensive alternative, I would prefer going that route.
thanks in advance

I used F4i cables when I was running a F4i front end and had drilled the triple for a dirtbike bar.
I had to trim away some of the housing to lengthen the excess exiting the pull cable (I think it was the pull???) to make it work.
