CBR 600 F3 forks interchange - bolt on?

Please forgive my newbie question. I tried searching but "F3" is too short.

Do F3 forks bolt on a Superhawk? What about the triples?

I'm looking at a wrecked VTR locally with 1400 miles on it. Forks are bent, maybe triples, too. Frame and wheels "appear" OK, but you know how that goes.

I'm looking for forks as I try to budget for repairs and decide if I can save this bike and not **** off my wife too much.
I could buy a perfectly good SV650 for what I think it would cost to buy and fix this SH, but I'd rather have the SH. If F3 forks bolt on, they're easier to find and cheaper.

Thanks for your help and patience.

I don't know for certain, but since the F3 forks are the same diameter as the Super Hawk's I would think that they would bolt on using the stock Hawk triples.
It will probably be easier to use the F3 wheel, brakes, axle, etc. as well.

F4i will bolt on too but you'll need the triples and spacers since its a larger 43mm fork. You can also upgrades the 'hawks brakes while you're at it.

I would "assume" that F3 brakes are basically in the same league/design era as the VTR. Just a guess tho'.

I'm sure they are, but I don't remember anyone ever complaining about F3 brakes. I had a '91 F2, with small rotors and single action calipers, but the brakes were great--much better than the stock Hawk brakes, with good feel and power. I believe the F3 brakes were a step up from the F2 and the F4 brakes are another step up.

Be sure and take some measurements before you buy. You want the replacements no more than 10mm shorter or maybe 25mm longer than stock.

That's definitely a consideration, but I would bet that F3 forks are within that range since all the popular forks for swapping (929, 954, RC51, 1000RR) are close enough.

Upgrade if you can find F4 or better forks in your budget range, but I think the F3 forks will do.
