carb sync!! question?

Does anyone know the size of the allen bolt that u have to remove to do the sync!! i removed it and it fell in the bike can't seem to find it
"hate when that happens" not sure if it's metric or standard and is there
any adapter i can permanatly throw on there so i don't have to keep going to synch it. if so what size? and where can i get one?

thanks so much this site is great

It will be metric and is quite small, about 4mm.

You can buy a second vacuum fitting from Honda and install it in there. Then run some lines to enable you to do the carb synch, with a T piece to run anothe hose to the fuel tap. Then simply block them off until you need them. I have mine tucked in behind the frame, so when I need to check the synch I can do it in a few minutes without removing anything.

There will be a few threads on here, if you do a search you might find a detailed write-up. But it is pretty simple.

it is small, but I believe its 5mm.

this is the ronayers link and i think its number 14 on the fiche but they also have the vacuum fitting listed, number 7.

https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ead.php?t=6519 is the thread you're looking for as far as the part you want. The #7 part on the RA link is the correct part. It just cost me $3.87 at my local shop. Get it, replace the bolt with the new part and, as stated before, put some line on it and plug the line so you can just hook directly to your gauges for synch and not have to remove anything. Good luck!
