Gentlemen, I believe I am in carb hell. This is also related to my previous post “rear cylinder”. I am at a total loss, the bike is experiencing an issue running.. when the bike is at idle she thumps like something is wrong, low idle and she loops at around 900 rpm almost sounds like a miss. When she warms up a little maybe 75 seconds standing still she sounds like she chokes her self out and dies. I increased the idle to 1200 and took her for a spin and same result, when I give her gas she “feels like she is being choked out“ and dies, I pulled the carbs off and cleaned everything to the point of stupid, reassembled the carb pack slowly making sure everything is correct and accounted for, then I pulled the front and rear coil packs off and cleaned the contacts, re installed them, she fires but the same result. SO I removed the choke cable and took the choke pins and re installed them into the choke holes and put a (10x1) mm fine thread bolt on the back of those needles so the choke is DISENGAGED. (I live in Arizona no need right now for choke)

 

Did you sync and tune the carbs after rebuilding them?
