Can the speedometer blow a turn signal fuse?

I ride a 2015 Yamaha Vstar 650, lately the turn signal fuse has been blowing so I did some wire checking and haven't found anything. Did a test ride to see exactly when the fuse goes. Here is what I come up with after changing 8 fuses.
Everything goes smoothly and operates correctly so long as I don't go over 80km. The moment my speedometer reaches 80 the fuse blows. I have checked the wiring going to the speedometer and everything checks out. What am I missing here, can the speedometer cable cause a short? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also have brought in the bike to a shop and they are just as baffled. Already lost 3 weeks of riding due to a faulty selonoid and don't want to lose the whole riding season.

It seems to be related to engine speed.....maybe it is alternator related problem...overcharging the battery...????
