bike looses cylinder in the rain

Any one had any problems loosing a cylinder in rain? Every once in awhile I loose the front cylinder when I ride in the rain. Anyone else every had this problem?

Yes it is an issue for folks who live in wet areas.

I have ridden in the rain with the SH a great deal and never experienced it. depending on the age of the bike, I'd replace the plug wire - the seal around the spark plug is quite elaborate and probably tends to cracking or drying easily given the heat. You shouldn't be losing the cylinder in the rain

The tank vent tube can also suck in some water resulting in a partial vacuum lock. Re-routing the line cures it.

Good call, S'Bling. Another way to alleviate that is to cut the bottom of the vent tube at an angle and such that the opening is towards the rear of the bike.
