Back Brake Noise

Slight squeak from the back brake when I'm paddle walking it, not all the time, only sometimes. The brake pads look new-ish, could this be the reason?

Could the rear wheel be slightly out of alignment causing the rotor to not run parallel to the slot between the brake pads?

try spraying brake cleaner in the pad area, and wipe down the rotor - do it carefully, nasty stuff

thetophatflash is an unknown quantity at this point
Make sure the caliper axle is not seized and the pad dragging more than normal.

Good point - the rear brake is a single piston floater, it needs to be able to move.

It looks like the piston is pushed towards the rotor. When I depress the back brake I dont see the piston push in so I'm pretty sure I need new back brakes.

Take it off and clean it up. Mine was acting up. Wouldn't hold on a hill, then would grind a little, then get grabby. Cleaned up and new pads... GTS.

Took em apart, cleaned em, good to go, need to get some new pads though. The retainer pin was rusted so I used some Nev-R-Dull and polished back to a healthy sheen. No more noise, no more drag
