anyone ever disassembled the gas cap?

anyone ever disassembled the gas cap?

I want to powder coat this but im unsure as to how it comes apart. Anyone done this before i start probing the gaskets?

how much is it worth to you to know how to take it apart??? LOL

I think my hawk had been stolen before I bought it... the ignition turned with a screwdriver and the gas cap had no core in it, (I replaced them a while ago I will try and dig up the old cap and take some pics)

In fact if you live near Fremont, CA you could probably stop by and have a look if you wanted to.

finaly found my camera cable and the cap so here are some pics;
